Warm toasted nut breads

You will need

  • 250g Strong white flour
  • 250g Wholemeal flour
  • 13g Salt
  • 13g Sugar
  • 213ml tepid water
  • 15g Yeast
  • 90g butter
  • 100g crushed mixed nuts
  • 25ml MezzeSoul pomegranate vinegar sauce
  • 75ml Good quality olive oil
  • 20ml Milk

Let's get busy

  • In a bowl mix the flours, butter, salt & sugar to a fine crumb
  • Dissolve yeast in the tepid water
  • Add water &yeast solution to flour mix and bring together
  • Lastly add nuts and mix well
  • Cover bowl in cling film and allow to prove in a warm place
  • Once doubled in size knock the bread mix back and knead for 5minutes
  • Cut into desired size & shape
  • Allow to prove again when doubled in size bake in a pre-heated oven at 180oC. When golden brown remove from oven and brush with milk for a shiny professional finish
  • Mix the vinegar & oil together and serve with the warm bread.
